Terms and Conditions

  1. General
    • These terms and conditions will apply to all sales of products made by MC² Tiles and Flooring Ltd.
    • All orders are placed with MC² Tiles & Flooring which is a business name of: MC² Tiles and Flooring Ltd. Registered in England and Wales No. 06304651. VAT Registration No. 674 1962 10. Registered Office: Victoria Cottage, Grove Lane, Winkfield Row, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG42 6ND
    • The Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  1. Definitions

‘We’ and ‘Us’ means MC² Tiles and Flooring Ltd.

‘You’ and ‘Your’ means the person to whom the order is addressed

‘Customer’ means any person buying goods from us.

  1. Basis of Contract
    • These terms and conditions apply to your use of this web site and any purchase you make via our showroom so please take time to read them. They do not affect your statutory rights.
    • We reserve the right to revise and amend these terms from time to time.
  1. Ordering
    • Orders can be placed through our website, in our showroom or remotely via emailing or telephoning the showroom. Our contact details are on our contact us
    • For orders placed via our website, after selecting your products from the range available, you will proceed to the checkout area. You will be passed to a secure online payment authorisation service that will process your card details and obtain payment from your card provider.
    • We will send you confirmation of your order in writing (either as a hard copy or via email).
    • Prices and delivery charges are those that are in force at the time you submit your order.
    • We strongly advise that correct quantities are ordered for your project, inclusive of an additional amount for cutting and wastage. Any additional orders will be subject to their own delivery charges and time frames.
  1. Cancellations and Amendments
    • You can amend or cancel your order at any time up until 24 hours before the order is dispatched by our supplier. Should you wish to cancel the order after it has been dispatched you will be liable for handling charges which you will be informed of at the time. Should you wish to cancel your order please contact the MC² showroom on 01753 830638.
    • Following cancellation, we will reimburse you within 14 days.
  1. The goods
    • When you receive your goods, they should be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If this is not the case, we will refund you or replace the items. Please contact us immediately at our showroom on 01753 830638 if this is not the case. This clause does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from:
      • Wear and tear or negligence.
      • Use of the goods in a way that the manufacturer does not recommend.
      • Your failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions e.g. with regard to treating or cleaning the product
  1. Description and samples
    • All descriptions, images and samples of our goods are for the purpose of giving an approximate representation of the goods only.
    • We will supply you with up to three free samples of flooring via our website or our showroom at a time.
    • You acknowledge that the goods we supply are, in some cases, natural and will display variation in terms of colour, markings and texture.
    • We advise you to buy your flooring accessories from the same range so as to minimise the chance of variations.
  1. Price and Payment
    • The price of goods shall be the price in force at the time you confirm your order and includes VAT.
    • The cost of delivery will be specified on your order.
    • Payment of all goods made online must be made in advance by Credit or Debit card. We accept payment with Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards. Payments in store may also be made by bank transfer.
  1. Delivery

  1. Installation
    • It is your responsibility to source a qualified installer for your product(s). We do not install products. MC² will not accept responsibility for any product failure caused by incorrect installation.
  1. Damaged, Missing or Faulty Goods
    • Please check your goods immediately on delivery. We reserve the right to refuse claims for damaged or missing goods made 24 hours after delivery unless a longer period of time has been mutually agreed in writing.
    • We strongly advise you to arrange delivery at least 10 working days in advance of the product being required e.g. for installation work. This will allow sufficient time for you to check your order and to allow the materials to acclimatise.

  1. Force Majeure
    • We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform any of the obligations we may have under these terms that is caused by events over which we have no reasonable control (an ‘unexpected event’).
    • An unexpected event includes Act of God, Governmental actions, pandemic, war or national emergency, acts of terrorism, protests, riot, civil commotion, fire, explosion, flood epidemic, extreme weather conditions, lockouts, transport delays, strikes and other industrial disputes and difficulty in obtaining supplies.

    • These same terms and conditions are applicable to all our customers, be they consumers or trade customers.
